Description
Your experience begins with hotel pickup from Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise, or Broadbeach accommodations. Travel to the launch site and watch the balloon inflate to the height of a ten-storey building before boarding with your experienced pilot.
Drift silently for an hour above the Gold Coast Hinterland and Scenic Rim. Enjoy views of the Surfers Paradise skyline and hinterland peaks, with Brisbane City visible in the distance. Your pilot will explain the landscape and the skill of hot air balloon flight during the journey.
After landing, you may enter the balloon envelope for a guided look inside (weather permitting). Celebrate with a sparkling wine toast and receive a pilot-signed commemorative certificate.
Then, transfer to the Langham Hotel at The Jewel in Surfers Paradise for a full buffet breakfast at their Akoya restaurant. The breakfast features a wide spread of hot and cold dishes, catering to various tastes, with oceanfront views over Surfers Paradise beach.
