Description
Depart from Brisbane’s Holt Street Wharf for a scenic 75-minute high-speed cruise across Moreton Bay. With over 60 years as Moreton Island’s original operator, the experienced marine crew ensures a smooth journey, often with dolphin or whale sightings. A complimentary onboard beverage is provided to start your island day.
Bookings include exclusive access to the private Tangalooma Island Resort, with full use of its facilities throughout your visit. Facilities include multiple swimming pools, restaurants, bars, convenience store, showers, and change rooms, offering a comfortable base for your trip.
The guided snorkel tour covers the famous Tangalooma Wrecks, a reef of 15 sunken vessels home to over 200 tropical fish species and coral. Snorkelling equipment—mask, snorkel, fins, and wetsuit—is provided. The wrecks are adjacent to the resort, reached via a short snorkel boat ride with safety-supported guides catering to all skill levels.
The day concludes with the Wild Dolphin Feeding Experience at sunset. A pod of wild bottlenose dolphins arrives in shallow waters for their nightly feed. This ethically managed encounter allows guests to feed wild dolphins in their natural habitat, unique to Tangalooma.
Enjoy lunch with a voucher redeemable at your choice of resort food outlets, offering options like burgers, pizza, pasta, salads, and nachos. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool, visiting the Eco Centre, or joining wildlife presentations hosted by the Eco Rangers. Depending on the schedule, you may see kookaburra feeding or attend seabird talks.
