Description

Begin with a 45-minute drive from Brisbane to the ferry port, where breakfast can be purchased before boarding. Cross to North Stradbroke Island by ferry, then visit Brown Lake, learning about the island and the cultural significance to the Quandamooka people.

Stop briefly at Myora Springs before heading to the northwest side of the island for a walk and photo opportunity at Cylinder Beach. Continue to the Gorge Walk, a 40 to 45-minute coastal walk with views of the Coral Sea’s diverse marine life including manta rays, turtles, and dolphins. Lunch is taken at Point Lookout.

After lunch, travel to Amity Point for a guided koala-spotting walk. Alternatively, spend additional time at the beach. The tour concludes with a ferry ride back to Brisbane, arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 PM.
