First stop: the Glass House Mountains. These aren’t just hills — they’re ancient volcanic peaks rising dramatically from the landscape. As we arrive at the lookout, you’ll see mist lifting from the valleys and iconic peaks like Mount Tibrogargan standing proud. The views are seriously jaw-dropping and perfect for those “wow” photos that tell a story. Next up, we lean into some classic Aussie fun at The Big Pineapple Yes — a giant pineapple. A retro icon, a little kitschy, and absolutely unmissable. It’s the perfect spot for quirky photos, a laugh, and maybe a sweet pineapple treat while embracing one of Australia’s most nostalgic landmarks. From there, we head to the Caloundra Street Markets, a relaxed coastal favourite that runs on Sundays. This is where locals gather — live music drifting through the air, beach vibes everywhere, and stalls filled with handmade goods, art, fashion, and delicious food. It’s less hectic than bigger markets and perfect for a leisurely wander, discovering unique finds or grabbing lunch by the sea. If time allows, we’ll make a special stop at one of Australia’s most famous opal destinations, where you can see some of the finest opals in the country and learn why they’re considered a national treasure. To finish the day, we cruise down to Mooloolaba Beach Think turquoise water, golden sand, and a lively esplanade buzzing with energy. We’ll stroll along the beachfront, watch surfers ride the waves, feel the ocean breeze, and slow things right down. Grab an ice cream or a drink, relax by the water, and soak in that unmistakable Sunshine Coast vibe.
